TRAINED POLICE PATROL DOGS
Over the past 15 years, hundreds of dogs have been trained by the expert K-9 officers and trainers at McDonough K-9. Our police dogs and handlers have received numerous awards in recognition of their performance in Patrol and Detection work.
Training techniques in this field continue to advance rapidly. Our police K-9 training methods have been proven to increase efficiency in K-9 units, while reducing liability to law enforcement agencies.
Our hand-selected K-9's are imported from the finest breeders and bloodlines in the Czech Republic. Law enforcement dogs and personal protection dogs simply don't get any better than this.
McDonough K-9 offers fully trained Patrol Dogs (single and dual purpose) and K-9 handler training, as well as green working dogs suitable for law enforcement.
Our fully trained detection dogs are trained to passively alert to odors of Marijuana, Methamphetamine, Heroin, Crack, Cocaine and MDMA/Ecstasy.
If you would rather train a dog on your own or have a different trainer in mind, no problem, we would be happy to provide you with a green dog ready for training.
Dogs from McDonough K-9 are trained according to USPCA Standards and excel in tracking, area searches, building searches, article search/evidence recovery, and criminal apprehension.
Staff at McDonough K-9 regularly hold Police K-9 Handler training and provide training seminars throughout the U.S. Give us a call. We will work with you to accommodate your specific needs or those of your police department or agency.
If you already have a working dog and need assistance in correcting behaviors and/or problems, we offer behavior modification services as well.
